Community Service Celebration of World Environmental Day Celebration of World Environmental Day R C Golaghat celebrated World Environmental Day on 5 June, 2026 at Ganakpukhuri Senior Basic School and 4 No Kumarpatty L P School. On morning half a tree plantation (Mulberry & Guava) drive was conducted with students and teachers at the school campus. An Awareness talk was organized at Ganakpukhuri Senior Basic School in the second half of the day. Community Service Inauguration of District Foundation Grant Project Rotary Club Of Golaghat, handed over 1 set of Computer Hardware & Software to support E-Learning of the students to Ganakpukhuri Senior Basic School, (UDISE Code 18180103501), which were received by the club against the Rotary District 3240 Foundation for RY-2025-26.The installation and handing over programme was held in a ceremonial way on the day of District Governor Official Club Visit on 11th May, 2026. DG has officially inaugurated the project highlighting the importance of E -learning for school students right from the beginning of school education. This project will benifit approx 439 students as it is the cluster center of Central Educational Block of Golaghat District. Read More
Community Service Project Antyodaya R C Golaghat under Project Antyodaya provided food supplements to Shanti Aloy Old Age Home, Old Amolapatty, Golaghat as an ongoing project every month for its inmates (Female). Under this project the club has provided the dry rations as per requirements of the privately run Old age Home. For the month of May, 2026 the dry rations containing rice, three types of dal, atta, suji, mustard oil, potatoos, onions, garlic, milk, tea leaf, sugars, biscuits, kabuli butts, eggs and few vegetables were handed over to the inmates in the evening of 11th May, 2026 by honourable DG Rtn Dr K S Elangbam. This project Antyodaya meets the requirement of 20 days feedings of the 18 inmates staying there. DG along with Rotarians spent a beautiful evening with the inmates of Shanti Aloy Old Age Home.
